Specialized Echelon II. Lower end of the price spectrum at $90, but still has MIPS and pretty decent ventilation.

specialized evade ii with MIPS. super comfy and feels fast. probably just because i know what shape it is and i tell myself it’s fast. heh.

Just bought a Specialized Echelon II after trying on loads. It has MIPS and height adjustable back, lots of great vents, great price. I’ll let you know how it goes on the ride but happy so far!

I got an Echelon instead, it does the job for endurance rides and tabata’s. Fraction of the cost and such all belt driven and such I run on max resistance or close to most of the time. I ride outdoors in the warmer months though, so purely for conditioning and keeping nimble. I really don’t understand the allure of over expensive spin bikes, I got yeah better magnetic and variable resistance.

They suggest that I take it to another authorized dealer, but tell me that I'm going to have to pay for them to look at the bike if they charge. Again, I just spent WAY too much on this bike and I have no more to give towards it, so I take it back to the LBS that built it. Once again I ask him to put it on a trainer in its highest gear with tension on the back wheel so you can hear what I'm talking about. Again he declines and says "I can hear the problem", attempts to fix it, bring it home and it's still suuuper crunchy on the front sprocket.
