Greetings fellow friends, so, I recently just got the sony ubpx700 4k uhd player and compared it to the ps4 pro. Well my main purpose of buying the dedicated Blu-ray player was just to play 4k Blu-rays in hdr and dolby vision. Regarding the upscaling, my thought was that the Blu-ray player would upscale better but in my experience, I would always prefer the ps4 pro picture quality as it was slightly brighter whereas the Blu-ray player was kinda darker.
