Currently I have a Sony SRS-XB12 and I always hated its bass, it doesn't help for my audiobooks. Also I don't care about the volume, my volume tolerance is very low. It would be nice to have also a 3.5mm jack (to increase the quality) and a mic, to use it for my phone calls. Currently I cannot stand the low-quality of the phone speaker.

With a brand like Sony, you’d expect a high quality speaker even in a lower priced product. I work in a loud environment where I can’t wear headphones or earbuds. My Sony srs-xb12 bluetooth speaker ALWAYS connects as a call only device and never switches back to call and media. I know the problem is with the speaker because I have another speaker (jbl go 2) and that one pairs just fine.

It was fine but as of a few weeks ago it stopped working. Is there anything that I can check or a way to fix it? It was used a few hours a week so I find it strange that it doesn't work now.

Since I also work in the kitchen, I need something a bit high but not that much in volume. For Instance, for me Sony SRS XB12 was really low.
