 The only real negative to this case: its camera lens protection is almost nonexistent. I initially wondered if I received the older version of this model. After all, it *was* bought during Prime Days.

 This case does not slip at all. It's slim and light and, thanks to its subtle bumper "waves," very comfortable. It fits the phone very well. Its buttons are great: quiet with just the right amount of responsiveness

From The Brutal Review: Almost Wow!

Good value, but the low price point shows through.

 Of course, that case costs $60 and isn’t one I would use as my daily driver - I’m a service technician and constantly using my phone, often with dirty hands and in spots with severe drop potential. The “rhino-skin” finish all-around and very slight finger-grip indentations on the sides give this case it’s decent grippiness. The rear panel has a very slight texture which should be more pronounced imho. All in all, I won’t say my search is over but I’m keeping this case on my phone until I find better, which I think is out there somewhere

After sampling about 10 cases so far for the new iPhone 12 Pro Max and searching primarily for a case that won’t fly out of my hand too easily, this one from Smartish does the job pretty well. Its got raised edges for the Front Screen and for the rear Camera lenses - the front raise seems sufficient even with the tempered glass in place but I would’ve like to see more of a raise for the camera area since I installed a protective glass there as well and even though I swapped the first one I used for a thinner, metal-frame one, the glass lens protector sits flush with the raised plastic bevel of the case. DECENT CASE FOR THE $

 Not sure why people were complaining about the grip because it is comfortable and easy. The only reason I didn’t give this case a 5 is because I’m not sure how the case will do if the phone is dropped. I personally look for thicker corners. But this case would be perfect for someone with arthritis or elderly people who aren’t prone to dropping their phone, like my mom

 We did quite a bit of research because we didn’t want to buy another case that she couldn’t use. We took our chances with Smartish and we are very pleased! The buttons are very easy to click. Not sure why people were complaining about the grip because it is comfortable and easy. Pros: - Offers good drop protection while still being thin and lightweight - Raised lip protects the screen and back camera and allows the phone to lay flat on a table - Sand-like surface along with finger grooves provide good overall grip - Cut-outs allow easy access to the charging port, speakers and mute toggle - Power and volume buttons are protected while still feeling "clicky"  Cons - My case came with a defect on the back where the paint around the camera lens was slightly smudged

 I just bought a replacement and you can see the new case vs my case that was purchased less than 4 months ago. The construction of the case held up great and definitely protected from a few drops but I noticed my white iphone not being as sharp in it. It's affordable but that doesn't mean it should yellow and discolor this quick. I didn't realize how bad it was until i sat them side by side

 I have tried many cases and while some, like this one, claim to be immune from it, the issue will eventually arrive in the end. However, the purpose of a phone case is to protect the device and take damage so the precious device inside can avoid it. To that end, this inexpensive yet rugged case has accomplished it's job very well and I will recommend it to anybody reading this review.

Clear case yellowing. Dread from it, Run from it, It arrives all the same

The case is not as thin as several others I have. It is so thick that my phone will not stay on the Belkin vertical charger and barely connects to charge on the Apple mag-safe charger lying on my desk. Much safer to charge with a cable--or get a thinner case!

There is nothing to dislike.  I hope it protects the phone from frequent drops. I was expecting something a little more substantial but it is a nice case and easy to hold.

Can't complain. I replaced my Apple branded clear case with this one. So far so good, I'd say it's definitely an improvement and I like the grips on the side of the case.
