The Simicube2 Pro surprised me in a way that I wasn't really expecting.

None of these qualify as high-end consumer wheel.

Best one imo is Simucube 2 Pro (Ultimate is waaaay too expensive for whatever tiny improvement it may bring).

Went from a Logitech G920 on an Openwheeler chassis to a Simucube Pro on a Trak Racer TR80. Could not be happier with the setup.

\-Price: For what you get nowadays, the Simucube 2 is a very hard proposition to swallow. Looking at even only a few years ago, even Fanatec wasn't in the DD game. All you had was Simucube, Accuforce V1/V2, and the Leo Bodnar Systems. There were some smaller ones floating around, like the Sim-plicity, but there wasn't much even only 2+ years ago.

If you already have a sturdy rig and don't care about budget, a popular go to is Simucube 2 Pro and Heusinkveld Sprint pedals. This is what I run and I don't feel like I will ever need new equipment.

I cancelled my pre order and went for the Simucube 2 Sport with Cube Controls Formula Sport Wireless Wheel. This is mainly because I have the patience of a 2 year old. Absolutely loving the Simucube though and will never need to upgrade again

I recently upgraded to a dd base and since I know myself I always would’ve wondered if I missed out by not going big and picking the overall best (excluding the 3k+ based) which is why I went for a Simucube 2 pro although a lot of people say the VRS direct force pro for considerably less is almost as good. Long Story Short, if you are anything like me in this regard I suggest going with „buy once, cry once“ since you will definitely not have to ask yourself if the dd1 is sufficient in hindsight. You only have to watch his review of the Simucube 2 pro when he swapped from the DD2 to the Simucube 2 and he held nothing back in regards to Fanatec when he knew Fanatec wouldn't send him stuff in the future plus i class my self as a pretty good judge of character and trust what Stilyan tells me. I will add to my comment if any is still active on this post lol.

If on pc go for simucube over dd1/2. I moved from dd1 to simucube Pro and would never go back. Its smoother, quieter, firmware/software updates are easier (no beta downloading from forum) and the qr is better.
