 I cannibalized the GX160 off the EX-CELL before discarding, and stills runs fine. So while I can't speak of longevity of the GX200, I'm expecting SIMPSON's GX200 6.5 HP to be a good one, based on previous experience.

 And again, you can pay an extra $100 for a better warranted unit if you are a worry-wart and need to sleep good at night.

 First time I have ever miss threaded a spark plug even a little, but without removing the muffler you can not put the spark plug in by hand, and my mistake was to try using a socket extension on the 13/16 socket to put the plug in "the first time". With the muffler on you have to use an extension on the socket.

 Feel lucky I got a 3200 PSI machine because that is just what I needed, anything less would be too little power and slow. Got it from Amazon, best price and service.

Dream Machine

 Simple fix but much easier to move around and on your back. I also upgraded to the Simpson MH5038QC 3/8-Inch x 50-Foot x 4,500 PSI Max Monster Heavy Duty Pressure Washer Hose with quick connect fittings. You will need to purchase from Home Depot SKU # 719940 for the wand and Store SKU # 719610 for the pump side. These are the mating Quick connect fittings to adapt the PS3228 to work with the 50ft hose

 Of course it is rated higher at 3200 PSI but the "CAT" pump is also top notch. Others like the Black Max use a cheap pump that if you read the reviews, fail after a year or so. "CAT" pumps are one of the best if you do the research and are more of a commercial model. Mine unlike others arrived with no damage or dents

Spend the extra money and you will be much happier.

The key to any investment is taking care of it and Honda engines will last decades if properly cared for. Another thing I was unaware of was to shut down the engine if you are not going to use the washer for a period of 2 minutes or more. The static pressure on the pump will tweak the seals. An operating power washer is a happy power washer!

This washer is just great with PLENTY of power to remove paint and anything else. I would classify this is as a professional grade home power washer in the power context. If you buy one, take the time to read the manual over and understand the trouble shooting guide. Not so much to help you with trouble but how to avoid it

 Honda builds extremely reliable small engines whether in an outboard boat motor or a power washer; Honda is reliability. I proceeded on the basis that if Simpson uses Honda engines, they want a quality power plant to drive their high quality pump system. I wasn't wrong.

 The static pressure on the pump will tweak the seals. An operating power washer is a happy power washer!

Wow - you get what you pay for!

 Buy a 50 foot hose for it right off. Earlier reviews spoke of noise. This is foam earplugs loud. Honda is a little bit better than a Briggs as far as noise goes
