 Outrageous! Saris customer support only sent me the parts because I told them I was going to return it via amazon. I doubt I would ever get anything from Saris again.

Nice to have -but not worth the price tag!

 So here's a Saris M2 our classic series frame trainer so you'll get that onto the MP1. We have a leveling foot on the back of here so make sure that the trainer is level on top of the platform and then using the same retention straps that you would for a direct drive you can slide them into the back and again this is a very common design for wheel on trainers. There's usually a bar right in the back of the trainer so you simply slide the straps underneath there tighten down the straps using an allen key or a multi-tool and then repeat on the other side. You'll place the trainer back on top of those straps and again making sure everything is snug it doesn't matter if you're folding them over one way or the other

 And now we just need to get the MP1 out of the box and set up on the floor. Alright, so we've got the MP1 out of the box and on the floor. Before we put anything else on to the MP1, make sure that it's sitting stable on the floor. So if the floor isn't perfectly level, there are adjustable feet

 We're going on 3 weeks now since I opened that ticket and I haven't received a single acknowledgment of my request (yes I checked my spam folder and have sent followup emails asking for a status). I don't have any faith in Saris right now and if given the chance to start over, I would hold off for the inevitable alternative that will likely appear in the market soon.

 It feels weak and can easily be pulled apart without much effort. Because of my concerns, I opened a support ticket with Saris shortly after receiving the platform asking if I could purchase additional straps to tie down my trainer further. Horrible Support.  Stay away.

 It got accidentally delivered to my home, so I had to get it from home to here which meant a cargo bike was involved. But no worries, I loaded one of my kids up on the back for safety and I'd like to have two people just in case things went wrong. And then I added a table just because as well and we went on and pedaled on down here. And that was somewhat unique because in that case I actually had the platform on top of the bike as opposed to the other way around

 So potentially two different movement vectors may be ideal if they could combine them all on one but right now that's not here and I think for $1,200 the conversation has changed to being about the product which I think most people would say is really really good including people have tried the trade shows and exhibitions and places but on tour all the place people love the product. It's the price that everyone gets hung up on and think in order to change that they're gonna have to drop that price down to something substantially lower. I think something in that like $600 ish dollar price point is really the sweet spot for a product like this especially when it has no electronics in it that you know it's really tough to justify compared to other trainer indoor accessories that you can go ahead and get in that same price ballpark. Still if price isn't an issue for you this is a solid product I've got no issues it from a product standpoint I just get stuck on the price

 So overall from a product standpoint yes there's some of the issues with the out of saddle bits but overall the platform everything was just super super silky smooth there was no perky jerky movement in it it's balanced beautifully like the design the construction of all that stuff is solved like I have zero issues there at all. Where I've got a little bit of an issue is the price. This thing rings in at $1,199 which is more expensive than the Saris H3 trainer that you put on top of the platform. That to me seems a little bit backwards maybe it's just me though

 You're going to have these rails, everything is already basically assembled. All you have to do is mount the wheel attachment and then mount your trainer with these straps. It's a great platform. It's really easy to use, and as you can see from my demonstration here, it actually feels like movement outside, and that's what we're all looking for, right? We're stuck inside, staring at a wall or staring at our computer screen over and over, but when we get out of the saddle, we want that rocking

 Six months of use and they are all heavily corroded. Submitted a ticket to Saris and they did nothing. These aluminum parts should have been anodized. If they had been properly anodized then no amount of sweat would have caused this oxidation after only six months of use

Purchase any other rocker plate!
