For me it was finally getting a real running vest that's actually comfortable and can carry water/food/phone/gloves/etc (Salomon Adv Skin 5). This was a game-changer for long-runs instead of having to pre-position food or drinks along the route... I'm now self-sufficient for 20+ miles and I can't go without for the really long days.

I love my Solomon Adv Skin. No bouncing, no rubbing. It feels more like an actual vest than a backpack. I’ve worn some Nathans in the past and it’s nothing like those.

Salomon ADV Skin 12. Fits perfect; is great for shorter 25k efforts into the mountains, and works fine for the longer efforts as well.

I’m 5.10 / 185 lbs, Norvan 7 and 14 in large are perfect size for me… always wear L in Arc’teryx shirts. Those vest are super solid so far. I dream of a new version with large side mesh pockets like the Salomon adv skin 12.

You do pay a lot for the brand but they are usually of good quality & offer many features and a great fit. I have the Salomon ADV Skin 5 and am really happy about it.

Salomon ADV Skin series is probably one of the most popular ones but they're not cheap. Honestly, I would go with a cheap one first & when you still feel like you want to continue running you can invest in something more expensive.

Decathlon Evadict if you want a cheap one. Otherwise, you can check the Salomon ADV Skin and Salomon Active Skin. TNF is also offering a pretty good vest but it's more expensive.

I am on my third **Salomon Adv Skin 5 Set** running vest, and absolutely love it. I wear it on almost any run that is longer than 1h30m. It wears more like a piece of clothing rather than a pack, and unless it is heavily loaded I usually forget I am wearing it. On some occasions I wore it for 12-13 hours straight with little discomfort.
