Just been out on the Rossignol Sky 7 HD. This is a great all-mountain ski, really nimble, really quick to turn, holds an edge lovely on hard snow.

I was recommended getting the Rossignol sky 7 but there isn't much available right now.

Looking for:

Mostly camber with slight tip/tail rocker

Medium flex

Turn radius between 15 and 21

178 cm - 186 cm

90-100mm under foot

Any recommendations?

Found these skis to be a little heavy, kind of dead with full rocker and didn't match my style of more moderate speeds with lots of turns, especially in bumps and trees found them cumbersome. I was also much less developed in my technique when I got these, though. Got rid of the Gotamas. \- 2 years ago bought 2020 Rossi Sky 7 HD.

These skis are great skis, however the top of the skis scratch very easily, from one year of use they have multiple fairly bad out of the edges and scratches on top, this is only my second pair of skis so I’m not sure if all newer skis are like this but my last skis were much more durable.

These are great West coast / Rockies skis, they will hold ok on hard piste if you get a good stone grind tune but they shine in 6 inches of powder or more and are very quick in moguls. Grabbed these and love them. They are responsive and easy to handle. I ski all terrains (intermediate level) and they hold up great in powder and groomers. Good flex and good weight. I’m 6 foot and sized to the 180. First day out with a mix of groomed, ice and powder and they’re working great for all. I’m glad I got these and the customer service was great when I accidentally hit order twice.
