So that's the 2021 Rossignol Black Ops Holy Shred, 98 underfoot.

Owning your own skis isn't the worst idea, even if you are inexperienced, but the Rossignol Blackops Holyshred is a seriously advanced ski and those kinds of skis tend to punish beginner mistakes by throwing you to the ground while trying to tear your leg off, haha! Seriously, chances are you won't get hurt, but unless you are pretty advanced, the Blackops line isn't for you and is more likely to actually *keep* you from progressing because they don't allow you to make small mistakes and stay upright.

* Rossignol Holyshred 98 182cm - starting to get too wide at 98 maybe?. * K2 Sight 88 179 cm - a bit too park oriented?. * Armada ARV 86 184cm - seems these are a bit soft from reviews.

The Rossignol black ops 98 (called the holyshred last season) should really be on your list. Skis really similar to the m-free with less chatter and more of a true twin tip feel.

I also demo'd the Rossignol Black Ops Holyshred 98/172 and loved them, not quite as stable as the 4frnts but still very good and better turn initiation and hard pack performance (and they matched my boots). I think that the 170-175ish length and 95-100ish width seems to be what I liked, though maybe I should get longer so I can grow in to them (thoughts on that?).
