I think it's an excellent ski for an aspiring intermediate all the way up to even a casual advanced skier who's only out once or twice a year wants something that's easy to ski. Still a lot of edge hold, it's forgiving you can take it on the groomers, take it really all over the mountain moderate speeds, 4 out of 5 stars

 5 stars. I think it's an excellent ski for an aspiring intermediate

 all the way up to even a casual advanced skier who's only out once or twice a year

 wants something that's easy to ski. Still a lot of edge hold, it's forgiving

 you can take it on the groomers, take it really all over the mountain

 It's got Rossignol's auto turn rocker, which means it has camber underneath the binding and then on the tip and tail it has an early rise rocker. You can see the rocker starts here and here. What that gives you is fantastic turn initiation, so you're not going to be catching an edge, you're not going to be tripping over the ski, and if you do take this into powder it's going to give you that little bit more float and a little bit more stability. It's got a sintered base, so it's going to be incredibly quick, you're not going to have any problems on the flats, and it's got an extended sidecut

 It's got a 78mm waist, hence the name, and it's got a responsive medium flex. So it's going to be quite powerful out the turns but still forgiving enough if you haven't quite got your technique dialed yet. It's got Zelen 110 bindings, which are incredibly light weight, really easy to adjust and to mount yourself, you don't need any tools or any training or anything, fantastic intermediate binding. Like I said, it's a fantastic all-mountain intermediate ski, so if you're stepping up from maybe a beginner's pair of skis, or if you've been renting for a few years, you're looking to buy your first ski and like to hit the whole mountain, but predominantly stick to piste, this is going to be a really good choice

 Hi, I'm Thom. I just got done skiing the all-new Rossignol Experience 78 Carbon. This ski is definitely aimed at that beginner skier, somebody who's rented a few times and is really learning to get into the sport. But it is perfect for that skier

 But if you're learning technique, if you're getting comfortable to the sport, if you're getting in and really picking up skiing for the first time, it is a perfect tool to do it.
