 This is one of the best built headsets that I've held in a while. I can't really find any one spot that stands out to me as a potential point of failure and that's really nice to see because there's always something that tends to stand out on gaming headsets and usually it's around the hinges where the ear cups join the headband but that's not the case with this one. It's just really solid and well made all the way around. I feel like I could take this and throw it up against the wall and I'd be more worried about what would happen to the wall and maybe my floor as opposed to something happening to the headset

 The audio is being recorded from the headset right now wirelessly onto my computer behind me, and I'm not going to do anything to it in post-production other than bring up the levels so that the volume matches the rest of the video. Overall, I think the quality is pretty good. It's going to get the job done. I'm sure everybody can hear me perfectly clearly right now, which means it's going to be perfectly good for in-game communications or voice chatting, video conferencing, and all that sort of stuff

 It's just not setting any records. The battery life's rated at 24 hours on a full charge, and I feel like all these newer wireless peripherals that are coming out these days all have stellar battery life. If I can get 24 hours out of a gaming headset or pretty much anything else without having to charge it again, I think that's pretty good. This is what the microphone sounds like on the Elo Air without any adjustments or effects applied or anything like that

 I love it. It feels really comfortable when you're wearing it on your head but unfortunately we didn't get that same treatment on the inside of the ear cups. Instead we just get that fake leather hot and sweaty type of stuff and that's too bad because this type of material would have been really nice in here and on top of that the actual ear cushions aren't all that thick so unfortunately these aren't the most comfortable ear cushions but I think they could have been. They could have been this type of material here that we have on the headband and that would have just put this headset through the roof in terms of comfort but that said it's not all bad because these are pretty big ear cups so my ears kind of fit right inside and I don't think they touch the inside of the drivers so it is still fairly comfortable

 All of them remain positives after using the headset for a couple of weeks.  +The USB cable is one piece, permanently attached to the headset, so it can't come wiggle loose and constantly come disconnected as is the case on some USB headsets where the cable is in two sections or detachable.  +The volume adjust and mic mute are built into the left earcup, which I find more convenient than having to reach for a control built in-line in the cable.  +The dial which allows you to adjust the level of your own mic monitoring without needing to adjust sidetone in software is nice, and welcome for people who sometimes find not being able to hear themselves when using noise-canceling headsets discombobulating

"All" Roccat Elo Headset's DETAILED REVIEW ++?

1 Air from Roccat, and honestly they have shown me just how much I was missing by locking myself in the Razer vault. Swiveling ear cups? Decent 7.1 surround that doesn't need a whole bunch of extra bloatware?

Not even after 15 months my Razer Opus headphones plastic crack &amp; it’s deemed my fault under negligence / misuse.

 Well, this mic unfortunately could pick up every little noise in my house. Including my dog's panting. I think i saw that you could download their app or something to adjust it maybe? I can't remember. But i use a computer provided by my employer so i can't download anything even if that was the case

  I was using these for work calls, i work virtually and am basically on a call all day. So i wanted a good noise cancelling mic for when I'm not muted and need to talk to my coworkers. Well, this mic unfortunately could pick up every little noise in my house. Including my dog's panting

 I did find it to be awesome. Like these are really enjoyable to listen to either in game or music, podcasts. Really everything sounds great, especially in games. You get a lot of good detail and these do offer superhuman hearing, which really comes in handy when you're trying to hear things around you

 Get the other side off right here. So starting first with the earmuffs, as you can see, very large cushion. This is going to be memory foam, and it seems very soft, also big enough to definitely fit your ears in there. You shouldn't have any issues with these sitting on your earlobes, causing any discomfort

 And also, when that goes around your ear, it will block some background noise. So that can be really good for really getting immersed in games or whatever you're doing on your computer. You have a nice shiny plastic ring around the earmuff that just kind of adds a nice accent. And then as you can see, the earmuffs are on a suspension that allows them to bend up and down so that it can kind of fit to your head

 Wow, get a really nice look at that Roccat logo. And this has the LED behind it that you can control in the app to do all kinds of colors. Get the other side off right here. So starting first with the earmuffs, as you can see, very large cushion

ROCCAT Elo 7.1 Air Gaming Headset Review - Mic Test & Full Overview

 Unfortunately, we have regularly had issues with the headset randomly shutting off (even while fully charged/plugged in), the mic failing, and it just not turning on (after being properly connected to the charger overnight). If that wasn't frustrating enough - now, about 8 months after our purchase, the mic wiring actually disconnected and fell apart. So now, there is no amount of trouble shooting/resetting that can fix it. Definitely not worth the price for the quality of performance (or lack there of)

My 10 year old son used his own money to purchase this headset. He loves being able to talk to his friends while he's playing games.  Starting at the bottom and working our way up, we have the USB-C port, the power button, microphone mute button, mic monitoring dial, and overall volume dial. This is the first time I've seen a dedicated dial for mic monitoring, which is kind of interesting, and I don't know if it's the best implementation of that. I mean, personally, I would probably just, you know, dial in the exact setting that I want, and then would prefer I just on-off toggle button rather than a dial that I would have to adjust and find the right setting for each and every time. But that does make it really easy to do on-the-fly adjustments if you need to

 They have a nice lineup of mice and keyboards and mouse pads that we took a look at recently, but now we're taking a look at this new headphone line. And they do have a few different versions of this. There's a $50 version and another version with 7.1 surround sound that is wired, but we're taking a look at the top of the line

1 surround sound. Overall, the headset has a fairly large design thanks to the ear cups and that one-size-fits-all headband. Putting this on here, you can see it does extend pretty far out. It's pretty big here laterally, I guess you could say, but the headphones do
