I don't think I got a single mosquito bite on our recent African vacation while using this. However, when I came home to Wisconsin and went camping, I got like 20 bites in one night, while still using this repellent, so that was surprising. It did the job I bought it for, though.

Took this to Peru, in the Amazon rainforest. Worked very well and the smell/feel of the deet was not overwhelming at all. Would have liked the bottle to be 3oz instead of 4oz for travel convenience (airline carryon), but it wasn't a problem.

Those spray-on applicators are a waste compared to this stuff. It's a smooth spreading cream with surprising coverage so a little does a lot and its comparitive value knocks it out of the park...JS

Effective in keeping away bugs, but felt slimy on my skin. Had to be careful when spraying because it would ruin jewelry and leave stains.

I have used this brand of mosquito repellent for over 12 years now. It is the best on the market and works much longer than advertised.

It works and lasts the whole day. Mosquitos and certain other biting insects will be repelled. Would repurchase again.

We don't like to be outside for any length of time, from early spring, to early winter.....unless we have used Repel!
