Best Daypacks for Women of 2022 - GearLab
For the person who is just as likely to take this pack to a coffee shop as on an after-work hike, the REI Trail 25 is the workhorse of budget packs, making it an easy pick for its excellent value. It's attractive, durable, and pretty comfy too. The design is one of the most well-thought-out for simplicity of use
Nearly Perfect Day Pack
I recently bought a Trail 25 as a medium sized day pack. I have had a chance to load it out and take it for a short 5 mile wander.
Overall I am happy with the pack. I has a straight forward, simple design. A wide opening main body that thankfully lacks the over abundance of pockets common in bags o...
I’m a third year, full-time college student who works part-time. When I’m not doing either of those things, I love to go hiking and snowboarding. Living in the PNW in the winter comes with many (wet) challenges. This pack comes with an easy to use, water-proof cover that stows very small. When it’s ...
Great pack for big guys.
This is for all of you big guys out there. I'm a big guy 6ft with the profile of a grizzly. I like this pack. It is very comfortable. I don't use the waist strap. It rides very well even when I have one water bottle on one side. I usually carry a soft fleece jacket, windbreaker or rain jacket, first...
This is the GOAT
This pack is the Greatest Of All Time.... for day hikes. It’s perfect for a weekender like me. The pockets and storage are laid out perfectly. It has a great setup overall and there’s a spot for your trekking poles too. This pack is straight up Goldie Locks porridge; this one is just right. It has e...
This is a nice pack!
I love this pack. I would recommend this for a day hike, with a blanket, lunch, safety gear, a book, etc.. or a laptop bag for work - my 13 inch Lenovo Yoga laptop fits in the hydrate sleeve perfectly. or a carry-on for travel, as it fits under the seat with my laptop, headphones, sweater... It's co...
Little Bag, Big Potential
Really functional backpack. Small enough to be a daypack, but also totally doable as a ultralight backpack for one or two nights if you pack it right. Strong stitching, comfortable padding. Lots of loops and bottom straps for slapping all your extra gear on externally as well. This thing is no joke....
The Small Pack I Have Been Waiting For!
I have been waiting to purchase a small pack for day hikes and winter snowshoe trips to bring a lunch and extra clothing layers, but not much more. I used this for the first time snow shoeing Galena Mountain near Ketchum Idaho and it was exactly what I hope for. Easy access to allow me to shed layer...
Great for a day hike even
Used this for a day hike at Harpers Ferry and then White Oak Canyon Trail. I'm a little old so I need more stuff than most. Also, I'm sensitive to the fit. Well this bag was very comfortable around my shoulders and very decent cushion support. Also, the beginning cut where the straps lay over the sh...
Excellent Bag For Every Situation
I now have two of these bags (one for the office, one for the outdoors), and I've bought them for friends as well.
The zipper on the main compartment is an excellent design for getting things in and out. Additionally, the pockets on the sides, inside, and 'door' work great for all of my storage ...
