I am rather new to the Wet shaving world and would say learning the shaving technique is everything.  I would put its agressiveness on par with the SuperSpeed Red Tip or the Slim at #5 or 6 setting. I also have the .68-P baseplate which does not give a close enough shave for me. I get great shaves with Gillette Silver Blue, Astra SP, SS, Personna Med Preps and Wilkinson Sword (Germany) blades

 Amazingly close shave, great maneuverability, just a solid piece of equipment all around. I am already looking forward to my next shave with this beauty. If in doubt, just pull the trigger and buy it - you will be happy you did.

Best razor for men with heavy beards

Nice and smooth. I get a smoother shave with this razor compared to my Merkur 34c. I'm able to get up under my nostrils better with this razor than the Merkur for whatever reason. Blades used are Astras and Feathers

Replacing and Edwin Jager model that fell apart after 8 years. This shave is MUCH nicer, can't tell why, it just is and the build is superb.

Great quality and build!

But truthfully the best shaver's to date that I&#39;ve purchased from Italian Barber are the Fatip Piccolo Double-Edge Safety Razor and the RazoRock SLOC Double-Edge Safety Razor. No nicks, smooth shave and using the LOI Titanium blades. 

  It too,  disappointment,  it left nicks and razor burn. (Had slightly better results – less nicks and RB with the LOI Titanium blades) .

Great expectations

My intent is to use the GC 84-P several days in a row and determine if subsequent shaves become uncomfortable. Although, based upon how my face feels now, I&#39;m not going to have any issues. But, even if I do, I now know the GC 84-P is a great every other day at the very least and my GC68-P is mild enough to use as a daily driver, albeit at the expense of a better shave. 

Well, I&#39;m here to tell you, my second shave with the GC 84-P was absolutely the best shave of my life!

RR GC 84-P IS A REAL &quot;GAME CHANGER&quot;

With only cartridge razors to compare, this has met my criteria in spades. I wanted to get into DE shaving because shaving is always such a chore and I have to shave every weekday. This has given me a new set of variables to turn the chore into a ritual I (almost) look forward to.

The Barberpole handle is fantastic - but leads to the only downside: the bottom isn’t quite square so it wobbles when standing on end.

First DE

I do have a beard, so I use this razor for my cheeks, beard lines, neck, and under my nose. My struggle with other (most) brands is the large top cap. It&#39;s hard to get under my nose and be precise. With this shallow top cap, I can accomplish this
