Disappointed
After loving the wired Viper so much and purchasing the Ultimate, I decided to give Razer another shot with the Huntsman TKL. I have had two of these boards and was not satisfied with either. The first one just seemed odd. I figured it was the actuation force and distance of the optical switches. I ...

Mouse and keyboard upgrade!
Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition > HyperX Alloy Origins Core. I have my work laptop connected to my setup with a USB switch.
Update 11/13/2019 Keyboard alone DOES allow changing color/lighting profiles
Update 11/28/19 I deleted a bunch of the review that wasnt relevent as I have learned more about the keyboard/ software and lighting since owning it. I am able to keep a static color now that i uninstalled Synapse. On the 11/13/2019 update below(I deleted that update) I still had Synapse installed a...

Hello, my mother bought me a Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition for Christmas - it does not cooperate with my cerebral palsy, way too sensitive. If I don't correct my typing it comes *oupt likke this when in TGYUPE normqaqlly.*. Are there any less sensitive mechanical keyboards?

Tournament Edition is a very high quality keyboard, even for an enthusiast.
This keyboard surprised me by its build quality. The metal top plate with the subtle Razer name etched into it is very tasteful, and the PBT keycaps that come with this board are phenomenal. You probably won't find better on any other mainstream brand. They have slight texture, which I liked, and th...

What happens when you buy Razer Huntsman Elite for less than a year..
"Premium" leatherette started to wear about 9 months in. Tried to buy a replacement from Razer as wear and tear is not covered under warranty but was told no replacement available for sale. You would expect a $350 premium keyboard to at least last a year but nope it doesn't. Furthermore no replacement part is available even if you are willing to buy it.

Unusable without software
Out of the box keyboard changes colors, constantly, and is impossible to use, to fix this you have to have their software running. Despite having memory to save profiles, nothing gets saved and as soon as software is turned off keyboard is back to changing colors and is impossible to use - again. Yo...

Razer viper ultimate is beyond great
I hopefully get mine tomorrow! Had to switch out my Razer Mama Tournament Edition since the scroll wheel is getting very sensitive and scrolls by just touching it.

Extremely touchy switches - READ
So I'm not entirely sure how to preface this review, but I'll try and say that these are absolutely the most touchy switches I've ever come across. (Which is why I didn't rate it very low, since it seems more of a personal preference type of deal) I am used to MX blues and the Razer Greens, so I'm a...

I bought my first mechanical keyboard (Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition) and I've replaced the keycaps with HyperX pudding keycaps. Everything went well, except I noticed that some of the longer keys (space bar, shift, enter, etc.) have extra supports on the left and right of the center part on the original keycaps, but not on the replacements.
