It is nice that this wire is a little braided which makes it really nice.

So I went with this keyboard and I am loving it. However, I wanted to some small mods like lube and add some foam in the base.

The Razer BlackWidow Elite is an outstanding gaming keyboard. This wired-only model feels very well-built and sturdy, and it has good ergonomics, thanks to the two incline settings and detachable wrist rest. The full RGB backlighting is amazing for dark room gaming, and it’s easily customizable within the Razer Synapse 3 software

In total I would say this cost me no more than $30. If I were to add in all the wiring I used, the RGB lights, 3d filament and all the solder I used/wasted, the total would probably be closer to $50. I have a Razer BlackWidow Elite (Orange) that has issues with sticking keys. Sometimes it's the S or 1, but more often than anything, it's the CTRL key. This happens without warning and can usually be interrupted by pressing another key, though not always (particularly in the case of the CTRL key).
