I personally think the Razer Barracuda Pro has the most balanced audio that actually makes it enjoyable for gaming and music. ANC is not as strong, but it’s worth the trade off to me. Excellent battery life even with ANC on. Recent firmware update makes the microphone quality acceptable whereas it was pretty muffled at launch


I live with Family and i am looking to find a headset that helps drown out noise from the outside and also improve my audio quality. I’ve seen tons about the Sennheiser PC38X but it’s open back and not sure how much more i would hear of the outside world compared to my A40’s. I’m not opposed to having to get an external USB Mic. Not sure how good the SONY WH-1000XM4’s or 5’s are for this type of use case. Thank you for your input!

Best Noise Cancellation Wired (or wireless) for PC Gaming? (Currently using Astro A40’s with Mixamp)

4 wireless dongle on my phone, and it is working fine, so I'm sure it will be a problem for every mac user properly, or actually, it will be a problem since there synapse 3 is not available for mac.  The sound is good, quality is good, I'm satisfied otherwise, I don't recommend it for mac users though.  I mean I know the macOS is the worst OS, and no one uses it for gaming, I bought this headset for daily use and to be free from wires in meetings and these kinds of things.

The HyperX Stinger Core (the one without 7.1) and the Corsair HS70 bluetooth grabbed my attention. I am kinda confident about the Corsair, because I found an article, that it is working fine on linux. What are your recommendations?

 I chose to live with the rattle to keep my face free of a boom mic. The sound quality is very good..

Like many Razer products... good with a flaw

The best advice I can give you is avoid Razer's entire range of headsets. They're notorious for falling apart, they all sound crapy-ish but the Barracuda is among one of the worst offenders.

 Battery life was good, the weight is ok for extended use, but the mic quality is bad all around. Even with tweaking settings in synapse the mic quality is very bad even when completed to a $20 headset. Discord was only picking up every other word at best and sounded very muffled/distant when it did pick up. Noise cancellation worked pretty well for both the ambient noises around me and not picking up ambient sounds on the mic, again when it picked up anything at all

The sound quality from the speakers is great after some tweaks, but it only connects to pc with synapse access to change settings when using the usb c dongle, which is awkward shaped and will definitely block other ports. Bluetooth connection works, but you loose all the synapse customizations. Battery life was good, the weight is ok for extended use, but the mic quality is bad all around. My Corsair HS70 Pros broke, and I thought I give these a try. I watch reviews which the mic sounded ok, so I gave em a chance. I thought the sound quality was pretty good. If using on a PC, you get full control of the headset via Synapse but no amount of adjustments made the mic sound good to teammates on discord

i tried 1 sennheiser HD660S (i didnt like the open back since i was bothering people around me and it was weird when talking while gaming) 2 razer barracuda pro ( my ears where thouching the speaker mesh) 3 steel series artics nova pro (my ears where thouching the speaker mesh and had issues static sound) 4 astro a50 ( sound is bad) 5 bose quitcomfort 20 earbuds (they give a weird static sound and it gives me a headake. &#x200B;. i hope some brilliant person can help me with this because i really need some help.
