Like I said, so the people that were saying that this Raspberry Pi PoE hat has a tendency to overheat, I'm just not seeing that in my testing here.

Now this is also backwards compatible, so you could use this on the Raspberry Pi 3 as well as the Raspberry Pi 4.

The fan on this things is crazy loud, and high pitched (too be expected for such a small fan, but). Fan comes on a lot even when no eral load. Had to add a larger quiet fan; since then, its been fine. Make sure you get a case thats larger, and you can mount a large quiet fan onto.

This is the second one that I ordered. It does work, POE is fine. The fine whine is terrible though. The other one does not sounds like this at all.

Easy to install and no software to install. The fan will turn off if the temperature is below a set point. Lower 4 screws that hold the standoffs interfere with mounting the Pi 4 in the official case. The bottom case could be modified by drilling 4 holes to allow the 4 screws to pass thru the case.
