The knife is fine but I expected better quality for the money I paid. For at least $10 less you can find a comparable or better knife on Amazon.

As this was my first oyster knife, I have nothing to compare to, but it did work for opening them up. However, several small chips came off of the metal blade towards the point. Not sure if it's normal wear and tear. The pic is after about 100 oysters.

Works well on oysters three inches and longer (triploid & Pacific), not so well on Kumamotos. I used a more pointed and straight tip knife on the smaller oysters.

Works very well. I've used it maybe 10 times and now the blade has a tiny chip in it. I'm hoping that won't affect the performance.

Shucks very well; better than any knife I've used previously. Though the wooden handle is unfinished which I don't like.
