We bought our original set of Snapware years ago and love then and love the functionality of these too. The price especially from Costco is excellent. However, we already had one plastic lid hinge fail in the current set that we bought in December of 2017 and all we did was take it out of the freezer and open it. On the positive when I called Saturday about the warranty they did say they will replace the lid as soon as they get more of that container in stock or if they discontinue a dish then they will replace entire dish with similar sized one

Advertised as being leak-proof.  That is FALSE.

 If you leave the plastic lid on while heating, when you take it out, it deforms as the bowl cools. You need the lid to avoid splatters, else you have to use another plate to cover the bowl. Take the lid off as soon as you remove it from the oven and it stays deformed. After that it never fits as well as before

Good purchase

 They seem to be made with slightly softer plastic and some of the flaps won't stay close so that definitely compromises with the sealant they're supposed to provide. A little bit disappointing.

Not exactly the same quality

I like the product, but as others warned about, the lids are fragile. I have had the set for less than 2 weeks (only wash being when I bought it), and the lid on one of the large containers already broke. In comparison, I've had a similar set from another brand for 2 years with no lid issues. I reached out to the company for a warranty replacement of the lid, but it's disappointing to have to do so after just 2 weeks

Like others say, the lids are fragile

 Will see how long they last - hopefully, I received a defect less set. Round tops fit fairly snug only 1 of 5 leaks and 2 of the rectangular tops fit very loose. They move ever-so-slightly side-to-side after you put them on.  I will update again should there be any changes but so far
