Our main requirement for this purchase was it had to be a modern sleek low light clock for the living room. The alarm for us does not matter. The ipod link works OK but the radio sucks. The analog dial is quite frustrating

 It's offset to the right. I don't know why it bugs me it just does.  So for 25 bucks we are quite pleased with the clock for why we bought it-Low Light and sleek. The alarm and radio are non-issues

 I have one of those small clip iPods attached to it for music. The sound quality is poor, real bad but Podcast's sound good through it depending on the quality of the podcast. The most important feature for us was a legible low light clock. It has a nice soft orange light that is very readable

Display is great. I enjoy the green LED much more than red. Numbers are large and clear. Indicator lights for alarm options are easy to decipher

It's a good clock, but has one major flaw.

 The dial is difficult to read, so I had to listen on another radio to ensure I had the right station. The radio on/off button is small and in an odd position and when pressed, has a slight delay before you hear the radio (on OR off). The sound of the radio is cheap and tinny. I know this isn't top-of-the-line audio, but it does not sound better than the 1975 clock-radio it is replacing

 I will keep this because it will not need to be moved and the station will remain constant. I did not try (or need) the alarms.

I bought this because I needed a specific look in a clock-radio. In that aspect, it does not disappoint -- it's beautiful. The radio functionality is a different story. The radio frequency is not easy to set as I was unsure I had the correct setting

 Since the oversized plug may not fit through the hole in the back of a bookcase style headboard, the installation is not as neat as it should be. It would also help if the plug blades came out of the side of the transformer instead of the end, so that it would fit flat against the wall.

There is one serious flaw in the design that may affect some users. The wire connecting the wall transformer to the clock does not unplug from either end. Since the oversized plug may not fit through the hole in the back of a bookcase style headboard, the installation is not as neat as it should be. It would also help if the plug blades came out of the side of the transformer instead of the end, so that it would fit flat against the wall

An inexpensive alarm clock that gets the job done.

Actually, it's easy to use and elegant. I spent about 20 minutes trying to figure it out. Call it a puzzle AND a clock. Actually, I like it
