 I’ve ordered a different case that I think I will like better. These are great, durable cases! Having said that, I wouldn’t recommend getting one. That’s my thoughts, anyway.

I recently needed a new phone case for my phone. I knew so many people that spoke so highly of Otterbox phone cases. I decided I would try one. I ordered this case

 Also, the part of the case that covers the charging port on the phone, makes it much more difficult to plug in the charger. I also didn’t really like the fact that the phone cases are not decorative in any way. I find I get tired of the same color all the time! Boring! Then, my biggest complaint is the fact that the case is SO durable that I can barely push any of my buttons (power, volume, screenshots, etc.)! I used the case for a few weeks thinking it would ease up, but it hasn’t! I can barely push those buttons on my phone!  Unfortunately I didn’t keep the packaging this case came in, or I would have returned it

 I decided I would try one. I ordered this case. My observations are:  It’s a very sturdy phone case! Part of the case comes over the front of the phone acting as a “bumper” so the glass screen never really gets a chance to touch the ground. It is incredibly durable! It also has a cover for where the charger plugs into the phone (offering even more protection)

Otterbox Disappointment!

 I could tell it had that same quality the last several Otterbox cases I’ve owned. I’m not sure if it was a problem in production or whatever but I had a hard time pushing the buttons on the sides - all of them. When I did push them I wasn’t sure if they were engaged or not so I’d press them again sometimes making choices I didn’t mean to. I gave it a few weeks thinking that I had to wear them in but they never changed

 The case had some scrapes and gouges on a couple of the corners. It was definitely still useable. The iPhone worked fine except the sound was “crunchy” for a while then it just stopped and never came back. I was happy that I had it and it worked

 The packaging says that it's compatible with wireless charging, but for both of my chargers that's just not the case.

Overall the case is what you would expect from Otterbox. It's a good and solid two piece case, but it comes at a hefty price tag.  There is something about the design on the underneath of the case that is not right. With thin plastic and rubber edges on the bottom, the case is prone to break/peel off with day-to-day wear and tear.

Years ago, I have had Otterbox save my iPhone when my kid tossed it to the asphalt ground from three floors high. Fast forward to 2022, the plastic and rubber edges of my current Otterbox case on my iPhone 13 started peeling/breaking off within less than a year. There is something about the design on the underneath of the case that is not right. With thin plastic and rubber edges on the bottom, the case is prone to break/peel off with day-to-day wear and tear

I like the case as well as the previous ones however I will say the button covers make it very diffficult to turn on and off due to being stiff...

A few draw backs

I bought the case and screen protector a couple of weeks ago - the cover is OK - the flap protecting the charging point is weak and more likely will break off in the not too distant future - but the screen protector had already two stress cracks after a couple of days - didn't drop the phone - just had it in my pocket - disappointing!!

As always they case is strong otterbox quality the only thing is mag safe doesn't stick to case it charges but doesn't snap into place until you remove the cover leaving your phone unprotected.  Other than that still a great purchase just have to plug in charger using port like before.
