Best Straps Ever - Should Be Standard Equipment On All Pickup Trucks

 The blue color is pretty visible, like if you drop them you're going to see it pretty well compared to a lot of your ratchet straps and stuff are black. Yeah so these you can only tighten it down as much as it'll let you. Ratchet straps you can just keep cranking and it'll bust your plastic kayak. They're tough kayaks, but they're only made to handle a little bit

 So these are really tough, really durable, they make all different sizes. So I would definitely recommend getting some of these.  Yes, the sun's UV light will slowly deteriorate the strap over the years but that is totally expected. I have not had a single clasp that shows rust (yes, it rains a lot here in WI) and they hold the strap securely in place. The strap itself also does not stretch, when doing spring inspection of the hives, the straps were still as tight as as the day they were put on 6 months prior before winter.  If you enjoy sports and recreation a lot, having these straps are essential. You can use them for virtually anything you can think of: strapping bikes and kayaks down, use as compression straps, bundling items together for easy carry and/or storage, etc. The quality seems to be pretty good with the metal buckle, so I'd imagine they'll last a while. Not sure how the compare with some of the cheaper straps, but I'm happy paying a bit more for these

Super useful!

NRS gear is the gold standard of anything for water sports. This includes their cam straps. I work for REI and their products are rarely returned, even with a very liberal return policy at the stores. I've used NRS cam straps of all lengths for over 35 years

 so tightly that the items strapped down become "part of my vehicle. Nothing else exists better than these cam straps from NRS.

 Of the dozens I own, the only ones that have failed have been straps I use in salt water and never rinse off.  These straps did what I wanted them to do, which is securely strap in the ladder to the tree while I am operating near the very top rung. Again, just get familiar with the best threading of the webbing.

I use these straps to secure my kayak and they work exceptionally well. They do not over tighten which can result in damaging my kayak but stay secure enough that I can travel at highway speeds with no issues. I also use these straps for other things I need to secure during trips and such. Easier to use and there is no risk of damaging anything by over tightening like with the ratchet straps

We use them not only for keeping gear attached to our rafts on the river, but also for hauling loads in our trailer and pickup, securing items to each other, for holding things to a hand truck, for carrying straps, etc. They are so much easier to use than the old-style strap buckle systems.
