I recently purchased a North Face Borealis backpack that I have been using successfully for onebag travel for a few weeks. I typically pack only 2 pair of shorts, 3 t-shirts, a pair of lounge pants for sleeping, a sweater, and toiletries, wallet, headphones etc. for up to 5 days of travel, with plenty of room to spare.

Nice functional backpack
Does what I need it for. Small enough not to be bulky and big enough for everything I need it to hold. Tons of useful compartments that make it easy to distribute the stuff evenly

Perfect for school, work, and light travel
I've owned one of these backpacks for the last 5 years. During this time it's been my school pack, go to hiking daypack, and I've even gone on one month-long trips to Mexico, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica with it. It easily holds books, binders, folders, and up to a 15-inch laptop. It is also capable of...

Fantastic Commuter Bag.
I bought this bag a year ago to replace a backpack I'd had for 6 years. (Reaction brand, also very good, but BULKY. I wanted something that had a similar volume but with a more compact form factor.) The padding, straps, and venting on the back are all very thoughtfully executed. The compartments are...

I am in the market for a new backpack. I will be using it for everyday work (I move between sites, so have to carry a laptop and other bits and pieces, I also have to carry medication for myself and my dinner/waterbottle ). I will also be using it for travel when going away, so need something that could take a 3 to 4 days worth of clothes and toiletries. I currently have a North face borealis classic backpack, it's roughly 4 years old, and am finding it too small for day to day use with work.

Really nice bag, though pockets are kinda wonky
I bought this backpack about a month or so ago, after finally admitting that the beautiful leather bag I had was utterly impractical for my needs. A really nice young man helped me pick out this bag, and though I'm not crazy about the bungee cord on the outside, the gorgeous marigold/pumpkin ochre c...
