So I think it's a great oneski quiver for someone that's not looking to buy too much out there.

I am 150lb, 167cm height, and Santa Ana's 165cm worked best. I just bought it :). Other skis were fine, but just not nearly as fun, I just can't describe it. I was also considering Salomon QST Lux, but then I sawa lot of recommendations to go with which ever models length fits you better.

Great ski, but may be a bit of a beast if you're looking to bridge the gap. From what you've said, maybe the Santa Ana 93 would be a happy medium? Still plenty of carving performance and speed with a good amount of float. it might still feel like a lot of ski but you could probably grow into within a season.

Last season I was skiing 158cm Nordica Santa Ana’s 93 and found that they were too heavy and did not float well enough when we had fresh snow. So I’ve sold them and now I’ve bought 161cm Atomic Maven 86c second hand for the normal days at a resort. I ski at resorts (solitude & Brighton mostly) and don’t do back country.

I'd throw the Nordica Santa Ana and the K2 Mindbender Alliance into the mix. My wife is a similar height/weight to you and loves both of them. If you want something a bit more playful, the Line Pandora is another popular option.
