how old was the enduro you had? Modern enduro bikes are basically all mini DH bikes.

If you want to go as DH as possible give the Norco Range a shot.

I've been riding a Norco Range A7.2 for a while now. Anything breaks? Just fix it easy. It's a fun bike, can handle anything you throw at it as an intermediate rider, I even see advanced riders with the carbon version.
