 It has a directional shape so the nose is bigger than the tail giving you more float in the powder and then also making it easier when you're initiating turns and powering through turns because you can really lay into your back foot. It has our cam out camber which means there's camber underfoot almost to the contact points and almost to the contact points here regular camber giving you a lot of response and snap and making it super lively to ride with early lift in the nose and tail which is gonna make it so you don't catch your edge as much it's gonna be more forgiving and most importantly with SMP it's gonna allow you to get more float when you're riding on those powders. It has a mid-wide shape so it's a little wider than your standard width so you're gonna not get any you're gonna have reduced toe and heel drag making it more fun to carve around on and speaking of carving around on the SMP has our power pods. What power pods are it's a little bump right here on all four binding insert packs on the heel side and the toe side and these little bumps give you more grip when it's icy also allow for more grip when you're turning at slower speeds and it gives you a tighter radius in between the bindings here so when you are at the peak of your turn when you're laying down that Eurocarb it's gonna hold really nicely

Snowboard recommendation

 The overall flex pattern makes you believe it's a park board. It is a directional flex, softer nose going all the way back to a stiffer tail with a lot of play between the feet. But overall, it's a very flexy board. You're going to feel every rut and bump in the terrain that you're on when you're charging around or even if you're just cruising

 In this video, we're going to talk about the Nitro SMP, a directional camber dominant price conscious board. It's someone for like that high level beginner to low level intermediate that's going out and cruising the whole mountain, ripping turns, but still wants to be able to play around on the mountain. This board features Nitro's cam out camber profile, which is a very mellow traditional camber into a slight rocker or early tip transition. You're going to notice just this little mellow zone, basically traditional camber

The Nitro SMP Snowboard Review

 It's going to give you more grip on icy conditions and it's also going to give you a smaller tighter radius in between the bindings allowing you to really lay into those zero carves as well. The SMP has a directional flex rating of 7 just to give you a reference on a scale of 1 to 10 we give it a 7 so it's a little stiffer of a board but it's made for someone who wants an all mountain board that they can rip around the whole mountain on, ride pile on, directional shaped snowboard with a nice cam out camber, playful yet responsive. So if that's what you're looking for, sinter based and affordable price and an all mountain snowboard that can handle it all then you've come to the right spot because this is the board for you, the 2021 Nitro SMP Snowboard.  The SMP has our all-terrain flex with a dual-degressive sidecut which is my favorite sidecut profile because it's tighter, the sidecut is tighter in between the bindings and then mellows out towards the tip and tail which makes it really fun to initiate turns in and then once you are at the peak of your turn you can really lay down those zero carves so it's a really fun and actually kind of aggressive sidecut but not too aggressive where it's scary but aggressive enough where you can really carve and exit easily, enter easily but once you're in it you're carving like a boss. The SMP has our power core which is tip-to-tail poplar wood core, lightweight and very snappy has our sintered speed formula HD base so the SMP is actually a very affordable price point and the sintered base at this price point is actually kind of unheard of so you're getting a really good base at an affordable price. Sinter bases hold wax really well and are super, super, super fast and very durable. The SMP also has our power pods and what power pods are they're bumps here, here, here and here around the binding insert packs so what that's going to do it's going to give you more or reduce toe and heel drag and it's also going to give you more grip on icy conditions because you've got a little bump here and a little bump here on the heel side and toe side edge
