What’s the most beautiful board you’ve seen?

 Has a directional shape, mid-wide width giving you more float in the pow. Has cam out camber, so camber underfoot and early lift in the nose and tail for more pow lift when you're riding pow. Has a dual digressive sidecut paired with our power pods which are the bumps by the binding insert packs. Gonna give you more grip on icy situations and also allow you to lay into those euro carves at high and low speeds

Hey everyone, first time in this sub so not sure if I’m going about this correctly - basically I’m looking for specific (brand&amp;model) recommendations.

I’ve been snowboarding for about 7 years now and consider myself intermediate-advanced. The mountain I learned on was Schweitzer in North Idaho. Out west I regularly hit black diamonds and love going off trail and hitting tree runs. On the east coast (eye roll) I hit double blacks bc there’s nothing else worth hitting. 

I don’t do park, so I’m not looking for a freestyle board. 

I’m 6’ 2”, 185 lbs, and have size 12.5 feet.

I have no budget limitations. I’ve been using a burton bullet for my entire snowboarding career and it’s been way past time for a big upgrade. 

From my understanding I should be looking at freeride boards. The “Yes pick your line” board popped up as a big hit and I was thinking about grabbing that. 

Any thoughts are much appreciated! First time upgrading, and if I’m gonna splurge I want it to be the right pick.

Looking for advice on a new board

 It has our bi-light laminates, so laminates going at a 45 degree angle, giving you that perfect torsional flex. It also has our speed centered, speed formula HD base. Center bases are super fast and this is an affordable board with a center base. It's hard to find and a base that looks this dope

 What's going on? This is the new 2022 Nitro Dropout Snowboard. It is, as you can see through the shape, it has a directional shape, kind of like a powdery shape with a bigger nose, a little spoon tail on the back there, shorter, so it works amazingly in powder. But the stance setup makes it feel like it's actually kind of a twin board. So you have like this twin feeling board with a directional shape, so it makes it a really versatile board

2022 Nitro Dropout Snowboard Preview

 This was super fun. I rode the 159, which is a little bigger than I normally ride, but because it has that kind of progressive side cut with the pods and a tighter side cut between the bindings, it definitely turned like a smaller board, although I could feel the contact points on the longer length, really driving into the snow. And even though it's a little more playful than some of the other boards in the line, it definitely held an edge, even on some pretty icy groomers. So I had a ton of fun on this

 What makes this board great at carving is that torsional flex. There's just so much in there that you can steer this board however you want. Then you have the power pods underfoot which just gives added contact and grip. So you steer more underfoot than you would out at the contact points in the nose and the tail

 When you're up on the tail, pretty much the same thing. This is a board that you can butter around with and have that rebound and snap to drive you out and then go slash some fresh snow. What makes this board great at carving is that torsional flex. There's just so much in there that you can steer this board however you want

 So what you get here is a middle of the road all-mountain freeride flex. And as it's directional, softer nose, stiffer midsection, slightly stiffer tail than the nose, with a lot of torsional flex. This board is moderately stable. I mean, you're going to notice some flapping at high speeds in the nose and that'll resonate back under the front foot and run it on terrain, you're going to feel it

 So it was bluebird with clouds kind of rolling through, warmer temps, the snow was a little bit heavier, there was like chunder mounds all around, and I rode it with my K2 Thraxxas boots and my K2 Indy bindings. Clearly it's directional. So what you get here is a middle of the road all-mountain freeride flex. And as it's directional, softer nose, stiffer midsection, slightly stiffer tail than the nose, with a lot of torsional flex
