Mini review on the new Naked Sundays SPF50 Clear glow radiant sun serum

I am not one to write negative reviews but I was so excited to try the new Naked Sundays SPF50 serum that promised to be a moisturiser, serum and primer all in one. I loooove their mineral Glow Creme. It’s the nicest tinted mineral sunscreen on the Aussie market and I also liked the collagen glow creme (the eye stinging was terrible though). I was expecting the new clear glow serum to be something lightweight that’ll absorb and moisturise the skin like asian beauty sunscreens.

Naked Sundays is awful. It stings, it’s like an oil slick on your face and completely breaks down your makeup and the nozzle fucking sucks. Never regretted a purchase more.

What sunscreen are you using right now?

I’m obsessed with Naked Sundays SPF50+ Collagen Glow 100% Mineral Perfecting Priming Lotion. It’s expensive and quite thick (being mineral) but it so hydrating and it has a tint that stops it from white casting on me. It was important to me to have a sunscreen without oxybenzone and even more important that it’s reef safe.

You could get a sample from Mecca to see if it suits!

I tried Naked Sundays, formula was a bit thick but it didn't bother me. But what I found was the heavy white cast it left on my medium/olive skin. If you are paler it may work for you

Overrated (IMO)

Bought this a couple of weeks ago, as it is highly rated. I felt it was thick, creamy & sat on top of my skin. My skin feels tacky all day unless I set this with powder. It is tinted, and colour transfers onto clothes. Giving it a 3 as Mineral SPF is hard to make.

This is one of those facial sunscreens that is closer to zinc than it is to sunscreen. It's really thick and can feel a bit that way on my skin. I have oily skin and I have also found that it can make me look shiny faster than some of the others.

I loved this on clean skin, goes on thick but rubs in well and wears well as the day goes on but if I tried to put it over my skincare it pills really badly
