 Especially it you fill the pot with water and your buddy volunteers to boil your water...its a good idea to remove the bowl, or you could melt the bowl, clog every jet on your buddy's stove, and spend an hour and a can of gas cleaning it up

I used this with my MSR muti Fuel stove. The pot fit nice on the burner, was nice size for typical meal rehydration.  I prep my own meals for each backpacking trip, this size pot gives me the flexibility to make larger meals with no problem.  The pot lid worked well, the handle for the pot fit nice and snug, no problem there
