The MSR Ceramic 2-Pot Set is truly unique as a quality ceramic set. Sophisticated camp cooking has always required a non-stick coating. Until recently, that meant either hefty cast iron or Teflon-style coatings, but now, the times have changed. This ceramic-made option doesn't use a Teflon coating. We appreciate its lightweight and seemingly high-quality construction. An MSR frying pan is available separately, with the same coating that is non-stick in nature and easy to clean. After using it for three years, the coating still looks fresh when using only plastic utensils while cooking.
This kit is expensive and relatively specialized. To fully assemble a camp kitchen at this level of performance and health consideration is an expensive proposition that requires quite a bit of attention. Additionally, you should not clean it with a ball of abrasive steel wool or cook with metal utensils. If you prefer a ceramic coating to Teflon, this is a wonderful choice to consider.

Lid broke on first use

Not quite what I wanted

MSR CERAMIC IS GREAT PRODUCT, BUT IT SHOUD HAVE  ALSO TWO HANDLES, NOT JUST ONE!!!

 The lid works pretty well, but unlike the old ones, it has the drain holes in it, so it can not double as a plate when needed. I feel like MSR cut the weight in the wrong place on this set. I can’t really recommend this kit, and I’ll be looking for a new system.

High Quality - a few question marks

One handle for two pots? Fail. The handle tucks into the pots nicely, so why not provide one per pot?  Plastic on the handle directly in the line of potential camp fire? Fail. This has been shown by other reviewers to totally destroy the securing function of the handle to the pot when it melts.  This factors definitely detract from customer loyalty and I will shop with a company that offers camping-centric design next time

Cuts corners in quality.

Too bad there isn't a set with the old ""clamp"" type handle.

I like this set because the MSR teapot (with a pocket rocket inside that) fits inside and it all stays together and packs down neatly. I haven’t had the chance to see just how non sick the ceramic coating is though.
