I had these on a bench under a covered South-facing porch and they didn't make it through one season. They were not subjected to harsh elements or prolonged sun exposure, but nevertheless faded to pink. Very disappointed.  Sitting in a nonclutttered drawer its fine but I'm not sure I'd trust carrying it loose in a bag as I was hoping to. It keeps me from cutting my fingers off reaching into a drawer though.

5" wide, but it actually only 2". I bought this specifically for an extra-wide knife I own, but now the tip still sticks out making it useless for that knife. I'll be able to use it for other ones, but not happy the product is not as listed.
