 These three pieces were crammed together at the bottom of the screw driver's internal storage device. I tried removing it with a metal paper clip that I unraveled and elongated in an attempt to reach each piece and push it out but that did not work. I tried shaking it to remove them but the force wasn't strong enough on its own to get them out. I considered banging it against a hard floor as another reviewer had but decided against it

 Then I read that someone used a metal probe to successfully remove it and that reminded me of a medical tool kit I had in my possession from a previous anatomy lab. I tried each tool in the kit to remove each of the three pieces (except the scissors and scalpel were of course are too sharp) and in the end a pair of long, slender tweezers did the job! Once I removed the pieces, I used the size #00 Philips head to successfully unscrew the the screws within the back-plate of my New Nintendo 3DS XL. For those looking for a screw driver to use to remove the back plate of the New Nintendo 3DS XL, the #00 Philips head worked for me. The appeal of this device (despite its one issue) is that it has multiple sizes (#000, #00, and #0 and the other four flat heads) so that if one size is too large you can go down to another size and see if that works

  The knurled aluminum is cool to look at but its a little big for the size of the bits in it. Plus there is no rotating top. Most precision screwdrivers have a rotating top so you can hold the screwdriver down with your index finger while you screw something in or out. Again this does not have one

 But this is for small projects only.  It comes with (4) Flat Screwdriver Bits: 1/16, 5/64, 3/32, 1/8-Inch and (3)Phillips Screwdriver Bits: #000, #00, #0.  I didn't even know they made a #000 screwdriver. It has been very nice for working on a laptop but it's not my first choice

Wish they would allow you to order by color.
