I'm only not excited because most of the people who made Mass Effect are gone, and those who remained made one mediocre game after another. The one kernel of hope is that because Mass Effect is their crowning jewel, maybe the prospect of making an actual direct sequel to the trilogy, will ignite excitement and passion into the dev team, to really give it their all and make the best game they can. We'll see.

Only one flaw:No controler support.

I say that as a 34 y/o guy that mostly plays shoot 'em ups and story-based games like Mass Effect or the Witcher. Of course there are niggles (it's hard to perfect the scoring system with an AI though they did a reasonable job, I expect the content to be about 15 hours when going at a leisurely pace - I'm not quite finished yet but it's clear I am almost there and I've logged over 10). It's best to go slowly and not jump into new courses as soon as they're unlocked so as to savour it, I reckon.
