80 gsm is a nice weight for moving - 120 Alpha was too warm as found in the OR Ascendant and 60 gsm Alpha was good but a bit cold as found in the Marmot Alpha 60. One can get 90 gsm alpha hoodies from a couple different cottage companies but the fit and hood always looks, from my perspective, wonky.

And the Alpha Direct just doesn't care about water. It's pretty much dry already when it comes out of the washing machine. I've used Marmot Alpha 60, OR Ascendant, Rab Alpha Flash and a UL Timmermade 85gsm pullover.

Marmot alpha 60, mountain equipment kinesis, rab summit vr.. etc. Alternatively look into going the direction I seen recommended in your original post here asking about the Proton FL. Grab some fleece items of different weights and windshells of different cfm to adjust for changing conditions. This is ultimately the most practical route being the easiest to adjust.

Though I dig the active insulation AIO items and the proton FL at that, I think the marmot alpha 60 belongs in warmer weather over the Proton FL. That being said, in that temp range you're probably not going to find that AIO item, you're going to be into a few fleece items and a wind/softshell.

Not the sexiest flashiest option, but functionally A+. 2) if your Atom is too snug to fit a thick fleece under, you could add an additional insulated softshell layer over it. You might have to size it larger than usual. Something like a Marmot Alpha 60 would be a pretty versatile piece and they're cheap.
