The case materials are high quality, soft to touch and the zipper enclosure is well hidden. It's well made. The reason I give it only 3 stars is the fit is too large. I ordered queen size cases and tried them on several different queen pillows

Another difference between our old cheapo mattress protector and the Sleep Tite is that it covers the whole mattress and is water-proof which means the mattress will last longer and is fully protected. It also isn't loud and crinkly like the some of the other water-proof mattress protectors I've tried.

My wife and I have been having trouble sleeping because some of the hot nights this summer and I have woken up sweating even with a fan. The fan can't reach in between the mattress and my body so that's usually the biggest problem. Since we switched out the old cheapo protector for the Sleep Tite mattress protector, the advertised "Wicking Tencel" has kept us much cooler even through a cotton sheet and I've been getting much better sleep at night.

These pillow protectors are great! They will definitely extend the life of my pillows! They are well sealed and will keep the pillows clean, which is especially helpful if you cannot thoroughly wash them because they are foam, down, or another similar material. The inside has a thin plastic-like layer that keeps out the dust, dirt, saliva, etc, but the outside is a nice cotton so it won't bother if your pillowcase happens to slip off a little.

 I bought a fancy and expensive memory foam pillow and didn't want it to get the same treatment. This pillow protector works great. It is really drool proof. It does breathe as well so it doesn't feel sticky or plasticky

 The zipper works well for taking it off and on. There is a little pocket to hold the zipper pull so it doesn't stick out. All in all, this does the job and is worth it to protect my hgh dollar pillow
