This post gave me such a laugh, my large all black Le Pliage Longchamp (which I bought in Paris two years ago 😂) has recently been my commuting work bag and it’s PERFECT. My coach rogue is wayyy to heavy even though I adore the aesthetic of the bag, it’s been used maybe once. I considered the Longchamp my fashionable alternative to the culturally tired Neverfull, what an interesting topic. Also in my specific city (Calgary) nobody fashionable would be caught using the Gucci Disco bag, any MCM, or Celine totes anymore.

I recently flew with my rep longchamp le pliage and that illustrated to me why it has such loyal users. I liked the security of the zipper. I didn’t worry about putting it on the floor of the plane. I held my large blanket scarf and my noise cancellingheadphones, etc.

The medium size is my go to bag for travel: lightweight, low key, zips shut, can be hand carried or worn crossbody (have to get the right model though), wipes clean (important since it often gets thrown under the seat), folds flat/up for storage. Not a glamorous bag, but it’s practicality is very compelling for me.
