I am looking for a cotton blanket to use with a purpose of being my only blanket in the summer along with the top sheet and then just an extra layer during the winter. I’d like a little bit of weight to it and want the cotton to feel soft. Years ago I had the main blanket from L.L. Bean but I’ve heard the quality has gone downhill and the manufacturer supply is low. I have looked at Garnet Hill, the company store, Coyuchi.  Does anyone have any recommendations for one that will last for years?

  My only wish is that you, and others, would start making separate sizes for Full and Queen.  I have a Queen bed and you can't tuck the blanket in on the sides, especially with a deep mattress.

This blanket is very substantial and beautiful. I have a 15" mattress and the blanket hangs over both sides of the bed 15", completely covering the mattress, therefore it could be used alone or with a spread/comforter. No pilling, but I haven't washed it yet either. I LOVE that it was made in the USA!

Best Blanket I've found in years

Saw this as a recommendation on wire cutter, and needed a new blanket for our bed. It’s just the right weight and so soft. Sizing on our queen was great too, with plenty of blanket to tuck in and cover each side nicely.

Great Light  weight, Feels soft. King size fits well on bed -but havent washed it yet.  I like the stripe because it breaks up the  color for when I will use it as the only blanket during summer
