I’ve had a handful of Line skis under my feet and have loved every pair I’ve tried! The Sakana caught my eye because I really love Pollard’s creative approach to ski design and the Sakana seem like a good upgrade from my Craigslist, 2012 SFB. Plus, they’re super cool!. I was wondering if any other shorter skiers had experience skiing on a ski 6+ cm taller than them.

I've decided that I need to get the Line Sakana for all the days when I need a break from my Deacon 80's - when I'm skiing with my kids, when I want to switch it up, and when there's some powder in the piste. I'm an intermediate skier that's never really cared about setting speed records. I've found a really good deal on the skis, but I have to pick a binding.

JSkis are the top tier option, but a line park ski will do ya. Fwiw, I ski the Sakana (181/105) and I think they’re super playful. Also demoed the K2 Poacher and thought it had a lot of bounce to it.

I have skied this ski. It’s an odd ski in my opinion with a huge shovel, small camber pocket for a carving ski, and small radius. I opted to go with a Nodica Navigator because it has a more aggressive carving tail but still has the big shovel front for a frontside all mountain ski. The Dynastar Legend, Blizzard Rustler, Line Sakana, Solomon QST are all skis that you might like depending on where you spend most of your time with the Chams.
