 Hi skiers, it's Bob with SkiEssentials.com.

 This ski is just a really fun overall ski for both frontside, all mountain, intro to

 free ride, really unique build from Liberty here.

 They've got a bamboo and poplar wood core, carbon stringers that run on top, and then

 a vertical metal strip that runs the length of the ski through the middle.

 And this vertical metal really does a really good job at making the ski very stiff longitudinally

 without adding the weight of a full metal sheet.

 So that flex really makes a difference when that metal is mounted vertically.

 Does a really nice job damping the vibrations.

 You see it in some other ski companies as well.

 Prevents counter flexing of the ski, just a really efficient use of metal.

 The bamboo and poplar is pretty light, so that kind of counter balances that.

 But at 100 underfoot, you're in that range of when you want something that is able to

 this 100 meter width, and you know, allows the skier to make a lot of different types

 bit of a handful in the bumps, tight bumps or tight trees, but you know, when it opens

 up these things really, really light it up.

 So that's a 2021 Liberty Evolve 100, really versatile ski, super quiet, and just a ton

 So if you're on that front side most of the time, and want a little bit of adventure and

 versatility, this is a fantastic option.

 This one is a lot more business-oriented, definitely better suited to carving turns. Whether you're on groomed terrain, something more windblown, you know, if you think of Liberty as a Colorado-based company, kind of that wider-bodied ski for a lot of different Colorado conditions can be anywhere from chalky and dusty to deep to pretty firm. So there's a lot of versatility that went into the construction of this ski and definitely translates to the snow feel as well. The bamboo is a very interesting wood to put in the wood core, has that light, quiet feel to it, and then by placing those vertical strips the way that they do certainly makes for a very damp and stable ski

 And then I would say maybe 10% rocker to this ski, so right about here to the front, nothing dramatic about that. You know, the V-Series that Evolve replaced definitely had more of that true tip-to-tail contact. This is more versatile than those were. And then we see similar things in the tail

 We've got a Liberty Evolve 100 for you today.

 Pretty interesting what they're doing with these Evolve Series skis, starting at 84 going

 to 90, this 100, and then there's a 110.

 So they're really kind of bringing this kind of frontside slash all-mountain shape into

 So whereas something like a Nordica Enforcer 100 will kind of be a competitor of this,

 they're very different skis, mostly insofar as that that Enforcer has more of that modern

 freeride shape to it, whereas this has more of that all-mountain look.

 We do get the same construction as we got last year, slightly different graphics update.

 We have VMT 3.0, so bamboo and poplar in the wood core.

 We get three vertical strips of metal and two horizontally placed strips of carbon.

 So there's a lot going on with this ski, and it all really adds up to a very interesting

 Due to this shape, we're not really putting it in the freeride category.
