 When you're on your deathbed and your life flashes before your eyes, how much of it do you not want to contain RGB cables? So we're doing it. I don't care if you hate RGB or not. We are unboxing these suckers right here. I am part of the problem

 And you know, from a greater distance, it's, it's not very visible, but just nitpicking there. Oh, and I can confirm that both of these connectors are actually six plus two pins. So if you have a GPU that has one eight pin and one six pin connector, for example, you don't necessarily have to plug in that one. That makes reattaching this a lot more complicated

 And you know, while they're at it, I actually have another suggestion here. This one pertains mostly to the eight pin extension, but it could be applied to the 24 pin as well. The thing that I don't like about this eight pin extension, and this is me just being nitpicky, but I'm sure that whoever's buying this who cares this much about aesthetics will probably care about this as well. Look at the underbelly where the actual wire and cabling is

 Let me know what you think would you spend in what world in what universe would you possibly spend $100 on RGB cables? Is it even a consideration at what point do you have to have like, you know, you've already got maybe once you've got like, do you have to have like an RTX 2080 Ti and the 3950X already in your system before you consider dropping that kind of money on aesthetics? These RGB cables are breathtaking (but I have some critiques)

 I've turned down brightness after noticing this a few weeks ago in an attempt to make the rest of the working LEDs last as long as possible.  I've also purchased the LIAN LI 24 pin (V2) cable at the same time and it began to show the same symptoms shortly after, too.  Typical PC usage has been roughly 40-50 hours per week with the lights on maximum brightness. Rounding up using maximums, that's about 50 hours x 104 weeks = 5,200 hours that I can expect from these cables if I go with them again

 I like the look of it enough to keep it anyway, but some people might not. If it didn't have this problem, I'd easily give it five stars.  It's also pricey, but it's pretty much the only game in town for these kind of rgb cables, so yeah.

 There is sort of a line across the cable at one point where the colors don't change properly. I thought the one I got was defective and sent off to amazon for a replacement, but the replacement has exactly the same problem. Makes cables very long, and is very stiff. But it looks pretty.

 So I had to stretch it across my motherboard pretty much and hide it behind the mini monitor I have underneath my GPU. Honestly makes me wonder why it is the length it is when you're not even gonna see most of it. Other than that it works as intended with no hiccups, looks great, and I would for sure recommend.

 This video add on cable did not come with this, so I needed to make an extra purchase, so knocked off a star. Also confirm your MOBO has a free RGB connection. Install will take three connections to the Lian-Li HUB; one free SATA power, Strimmer to HUB, and finally Strimmer to RGB MOBO. There are a number of configurations of lighting modes available

The main reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because I ordered a new item and this was clearly opened and sold to me as is.

Not for 3080

  Edit - i had to take this out of my sons build approximately 2 weeks after purchase because his gpu blew and wouldn't pay scalper prices for a 3000 series at the time (jan of 2021) - Fast forward to may of 2022 and i bought a 3070ti for 640 bucks, steal, awesome - install the axt strimer and rgb strimer and within 5 days the color of the atx strimer is WAY DIFFERENT than that of the gpu strimer. the gpu strimer cable is still flickering to a white light when its set to blue and i had forgot about this since the pc wasn't in use for a year and a half. I contacted Lian Li and explained to them what was going on, sent photos of the purchase dates if the two products and the gpu from amazon and Eric from Lian Li essentially told me too bad idk what to tell you. I recognize i should have returned BOTH products to amazon immediately when i saw the flicker but HORRIBLE customer service from Eric

 I won't be buying anything Lian Li again - was gonna buy the 011 case but went with corsair instead for this upgrade. Avoid Lian Li at all costs

 I contacted Lian Li and explained to them what was going on, sent photos of the purchase dates if the two products and the gpu from amazon and Eric from Lian Li essentially told me too bad idk what to tell you. I recognize i should have returned BOTH products to amazon immediately when i saw the flicker but HORRIBLE customer service from Eric. I won't be buying anything Lian Li again - was gonna buy the 011 case but went with corsair instead for this upgrade. Avoid Lian Li at all costs
