So there's no other machine that I know of Sub 1 000 that has these features and that's why we've sold out multiple times this year here at First Line...

I'd definitely go single boiler, not HX, if you don't want steam. The Lelit Victoria looks pretty nice.

Get a Lelit Victoria. It should fulfill all your wishes and I got it for 750 Euros. And I really love it! I have mine since 1 week and I have no complaints.

This: (Lelit Victoria) seems to be a good shout, a few hundred quid more the gaggia but seems to have ironed out all of it's weaknesses. Its £750, That gives me about £250 for a grinder, unfortunately I know nothing about Grinders. ​.

I now have a Lelit Victoria and my daughter has the aroma, which is still going strong after 8 years of use. If you maintain it, I think it is light years ahead of some of the entry level or second hand machines I’ve seen.

On my short list a month ago, but I ended up with a Lelit Victoria instead. I love the machine though.

Now I have a Lelit Victoria. So I got very trusty of single boiler machines. Kind of difficult to make milk-based drinks but very fast heating up for espresso each morning. I’m the only one drinking coffee and I don’t usually drink milk based drinks.

If you dont make tons of milk drinks, I'm going to suggest taking a look at the lelit Victoria. It is a beautiful and well made machine. 2.7 liter reservoir 58 mm portafilter, pid, settable preinfusion, low water sensor, automatically fills the boiler when going from steam to brew. Settable auto shut off.

If you will seldom use steam, there are many SBDU machines that are less expensive than the BDB that will brew was well. You should choose a machine with a PID, and possibly one that has pre-infusion. Lelit Victoria is a good example.
