Item is a bit heavier than I expected. I like having pliers and scissors in the same tool. Phillips head is not really a Phillips head. Knife blade is not very sharp. Can opener is too short. I would not purchase this item again.

Who doesn't love a Leatherman? The problem is that a Leatherman is no substitute for a dedicated pocket knife and a pocket knife is no substitute for a mult-tool Leatherman. I just have to say that I think almost all of the newer Leatherman‘s are great however I have a thing for the new old stock. Yes I own a Surge, Wingman and a Squirt PS4 but these are my only newer ones.

Plus I like that I currently don’t need to change anything in the kit if I’m going on a plane, I can just throw the pouch in to whatever my carry-on bag is. This of course doesn’t include the standard pocket items of phone, wallet, keys, plus I usually have ear buds and sometimes the Leatherman Squirt PS4 as well. EDC kits are very personal, but this has been working well for me!
