Krytox 105

I had just gotten my custom keyb parts: glorious panda switches, polycarbonate plate, 65% pcb, OEM profile keycaps. I had used a small amount of tribosys 3203 for my switches, and a few drops of Krytox GPL 105 to bag lube my springs. While it sounds GREAT and I love it, lubed makes it feel a liiittle too bit mushy for my taste. While I love glorious pandas unlubed as well, it doesnt sound as great and has that spring \*pang\*.

I since then lubed the switches with Krytox 205g0 and bag lubed the springs with Krytox 105 (oil) which basically means you remove all the springs from the switches, put them together into a small zip lock bag or a small plastic closable container, add some drops of Krytox 105 oil, close and start shaking until the oil has dispersed evenly over all springs. It might also help to lube the spring guide on the underside of the stem of the switch; I did so using Krytox 205g0. I'm very happy with the result, the spring ping is completely gone now.

Sadly others don't seem to be currently available in Europe.

My biggest bruh moment this year was buying 20ml of Krytox 105 for lubing a large amount of switches, only to spill all of it on my current deskmat and board. tactile gang ftw

Krytox 105 is great for bag lubing.

You just chuck all the springs in a bag, drip in some 105 and shake for 10 minutes. Much quicker than lubing each one individually and the results are great.

Dielectric grease is good only for stabilizers, for switches its too thick which will make them feel like glue inside. You need krytox 205g0 for switches and krytox 105 for the springs ideally

I live in Asia, so getting a vial of Krytox or Tribosys means paying through the nose. Krytox GPL 105 is around 85~89 cst, so the silicon oil is just slightly thicker. I’m planning on living tactile switches, so I won’t lube the legs.

This little bottle right here should last you a while and I'm glad they don't skimp like some places tend too. High quality lube that will last for a few batches of bag lubing my springs. Will only buy from here from now on. The shipping is blazing fast - they do not waste any time!
