It worked for the most part. We registered for mostly stuff we wanted to upgrade (kettle, toaster, everyday dishes) and expensive items that family chipped in for (Kitchenaid food processor, Kitchenaid stand mixer, multicooker). It worked well for us.

After spending almost a grand and half a year in getting this machine, it putters out almost immediately. Finally, I can't understand why it's my responsibility to check the online store for more stock each week, as my model is again on back order. I don't understand why the customer care team can't reach out to me when more stock is available, instead of putting that responsibility on me. I really feel like Whirlpool/KitchenAid really dropped the ball on this one, and I'd warn anyone thinking of getting a mixer from them to seriously evaluate that decision at this time.
