 Now, I don't want to spend too long on the technical details of the Kirkland KS1. All the information is out there and there's plenty of other reviews covering that off in far greater detail than I'm going to today. But to give you a very quick overview, it is a bladed style putter there. You can see here that it's quite a thick top line, actually, for a bladed putter

 If you're the type of person that can justify spending roughly £200 on that putter to give it a test and give it a go, then actually, sure, why not? Give it a go because you might be pleasantly surprised and you might really, really get on with the feel and quality of this putter. However, for a lot of people out there, that's quite a lot of money to gamble, to take a risk with, especially when you've got plenty of other putters around a similar price mark that you can go and test side by side in your local golf store or with your local pro. So that puts the KS1 in really quite a difficult position and in quite a strange market. I am really impressed with the quality and the feel of this product

 Now, this currently retails here in the UK for around £180, and I think it's more around the $150 mark in the US. Now, I've been using this putter for several rounds out on the golf course, so I've got a good feel and understanding for this putter, and I'm going to let you know exactly what I think of it. And more specifically, I'm going to tell you what I think the problem with this putter is and why I wouldn't actually recommend that you go out and buy one yourself. So if you find this video helpful, make sure you smash that like button and let's jump straight in

 But to give you a very quick overview, it is a bladed style putter there. You can see here that it's quite a thick top line, actually, for a bladed putter. Back there, you can see that also you've got what they're calling the TrueLine technology. Now, this is a fully 100% milled putter, and it's got a 100% milled face insert on it as well there

There's a lot of interest in this blade style putter that has borrow a lot of inspiration from Scotty Cameron. With that said is it a good putter for beginners? THE PROBLEM WITH THE KIRKLAND SIGNATURE KS1 ...

Hi all! A beginner Golfer here and need some help. I have around a $100 budget (could maybe stretch) to buy a new putter. Any recommendations would be amazing!

KS1 was delivered last night and took out on the course for 9 holes.  Overall excellent feel (a little firmer than my Scotty newport 2).  Head looks big compared to that as well. Sort of a hybrid shape between the Newport 2 and the Squareback which I like bc I prefer the look of a blade

Solid putter for the money

 So we're going to give this a few putts down here. We're going to see how it performs. We're going to look at the weighting, the feel, the balance, the feedback that you get, and see how good we can stroke it with the KS1. All right, now I'm going to test this directly up against two of my putters that are in the most similar vein to the KS1

99, which is considerably less. You've got that nice super stroke grip, which I think a lot of people will appreciate it. I love the milling on this putter. I think it's very consistent

 All right, this one has a steel shaft on it with heel-toe balance. This is old school. I got this putter actually as a graduation gift from college from my father. That was all the way back in 2003

 You've got the milling. Everything about this thing screams quality. Now, would I take the KS1 over some of the competition out there? I think when it comes to something in the same price category, that 139 range from a manufacturer like an Odyssey or a Ping or something like that, I think I might choose this over that. I think there's quite a bit more value packed into this baby than some of the big manufacturers out there

BUY THIS COSTCO PUTTER OVER A SCOTTY? Kirkland ...

RECOMMENDATIONS:  You want the weight kit.  I think beginners may not be inclined to spend the money, but it really helps to stabilize the strike delivery and makes this putter a keeper.

 Putts off the center come off hot and hug the ground with lots of roll. Even putts off center still seem to roll pretty true. So if you like the look and you like the feel of a blade putter and are used to an offset, don't mind a putter that's a little bit lighter and hold feel a premium around the greens, then this might be the putter for you. It feels good in your hands, it looks good in the bag

 It comes with a Super Stroke 2.0 non-tapered grip with Super Stroke's patented counter core technology. Now with an Allen key, you can remove or add any weights out of the top to give you more or less counterbalance. It's also sold in a box, which is kind of weird

 Not too flashy, not too gaudy. It is velcro, so these do tend to break down over time. I prefer ones with a magnet, much like this one from Player. Now the feel, as you would expect, is outstanding

We look at the putter that is flying off of the shelves at Costco. Did they copy Scotty Cameron, will they run into the same troubles they did with the Kirkland Signature golf ball and is this one a keeper?

Exceptional quality and feel

 It also comes with an additional counter core weight in that kit. So you can play with a lot of variables in this club and kind of tailor it to the feel that you're looking for. Additionally, just playing with it on the indoor putting green, I felt like I had some miss hits off the heel and the toe and the ball never really changed trajectory. It kept on the same path towards the hole

 I like more of a traditional style putter grip, but I could get used to this. It's not as fat as some of the other super stroke grips that you see out there. So I think that I could potentially get used to it, but again, really like the looks and the feel of this club. So that brings on the next question

 I like the weighting of it, I like the feel. I'm not a real big fan of the super stroke handle on this. I like more of a traditional style putter grip, but I could get used to this. It's not as fat as some of the other super stroke grips that you see out there
