Hi everyone,

I thank you in advance for your help! Long story short - I got married recently and we were very thankful to receive many gift cards from Bed, Bath and Beyond. 

I have done some research in this subreddit already and I know what type of vacuum I would purchase if I had cash rather than gift cards, but I need to be savvy as possible right now, and between the registry discount and having so many gift cards - I really should purchase from BB&amp;B.

A little about my needs:
•I have extremely long hair and lucky me I have thyroid problems - so I truly shed like crazy.
•I currently live in a small one bedroom that I share with my partner so we are pretty short on space.
•Our home has a carpeted bedroom, tiled bathrooms and everything else is wood floors with area rugs.
•This is not our forever home, but I imagine we’ll be here for the next few years. I plan on buying the vacuum of my dreams when space/budget allows in the future, and as I know what our future needs will entail.

I feel myself gravitating toward the Miele canister options, but I really haven’t been able to figure out which one would be best for my situation. The website lists Classic C1, Compact C1, and the Classic C1 Turbo Team.

BB&amp;B always carries a variety of Shark, Dyson, BISSELL, Metrovac, and other brands if that would help with guidance. I am interested in canister options or a stick vacuum just based on our storage space if you think there is one that could serve me well for a few years.

Advice Needed for BB&amp;B Purchase

I have problems with my hands and this vacuum is always tough to tug along. The floor attachment is a bad design and flips a way you would not ever need an attachment to move and is annoying. I've had it just over one year (figures becuause the warrenty has run out) and the hose assembly now doesn't fasten into the metal wand and just comes out.  I have always bought Kenmore canisters but this may be my last

Not very good.

1. Hoover T-Series/Tempo UH30301 $155. It's a simple upright that can do everything but average build quality.

3. Sebo Dart $500. It's the middle version of the Karcher CV300 and Sebo Felix. It is the well built, do everything, last 10+ year upright option

2. Kenmore Pop-n-Go BC4026 $279. It's a canister most of the weight sits on the floor, can do all flooring average build quality.

I recommend it over the Karcher CV300 because with the Karcher you'll need to add an attachment for hardfloors and it doesn't come with any tools and there's no hook to hold tools on the Karcher.

My house is 50/50 hardwood and carpet with one large area rug. We just got the carpet replaced last summer and I want to keep it in good shape. One very short haired dog, no allergies or other specific needs though lightweight would be nice. Price range of anything up to $300, MAYBE $350 for the right one.

No idea where to start, sick of getting terrible vacuums, and don’t have the time to look.

Good vaccum, today's typical cheap manufacturing.

   I just needed a power switch replaced once on the Miele and they can't do it!  It requires an entirely new wand for almost $300!  I had to buy two new sweeper heads on the Miele in two years for almost $300 each.   Absolute trash.  

Buy This, Not Miele

Very disappointing, because it was very effective at deep cleaning.I called customer service and they offered to send me a a free replacement.I was cleaning the carpet on my stairs,and before I got to the top of the stairs the roller brush stopped turning.

Too early to tell.

Love Kenmore canister vacuum.

This is my 3rd Kenmore and I really like it.  I still have my last one and plan on using that in the gargage for the cars.  This one is very easy to use, it is a bit heavy though for anyone with strength issues and the motor is louder than my other Kenmores' but overall it's good quality.

I used it to clean my home only and I am really disappointed with this product. Stopped working after a few months and heats up despite changing the filters and vacuum bags..
