 It's beneficial for a lot of reasons, including the fact that it's naturally antimicrobial so it won't start to stink after a few days of wear. It's also breathable and very warm and soft up against the skin. For both the bottoms and the top, you can see this lighter gray material. This is still merino wool but it's just a little bit thinner so it adds breathability where you need it most

Across the line for Kari Tra, I've found that consistently I've been a medium so I like that their sizing is consistent throughout different pieces. You can see that the top is plenty long enough to stay tucked in throughout the entire day as well as the sleeves are a perfect length

 I'm Callie with Adventure Rig and if you've been around here long enough, you know that Kari Tra is one of my favorite base layer brands in the business. Today I'm wearing the Rose base layer and these are made with 100% merino wool. They're some of the warmest base layers in their lineup. My favorite base layer for winter

 It's pretty long as you can see but on days when I'm you know hiking in the at the resort or in the backcountry I can feel this come untucked a bit in the back so I wish it was just a little bit longer for that reason just because I like to stay tucked in throughout the day. This top is a hundred percent merino wool so not only is it gonna keep you warm it's gonna be extremely soft up against the skin. It naturally resists odors so this has been perfect for this trip because we don't get to shower very often. We don't get to do laundry very often

 I'm about 5'7 and 130 pounds, but I tried both on and I really liked how the small was really fitted. And I probably wouldn't wear another base layer under it, but if you are someone that likes to wear two base layers and you want your cute base layer on the outside, maybe you would choose a medium.
