Apparently KALI was formed when several JBL designers were let go or left because of corporate restrictions preventing blah blah... Those stories are great but what is better is for three hundred for a pair you get MASSIVE studio monitors with JBL levels of tweeter accuracy and some thicc flowy bass...
Kali Audio LP-6, a knockout speaker with a surprisingly affordable price
I'm bowled over by what the Kali Audio LP-6 gets right for the money.
Good Value, But....
Given the "but", you know what's coming. I'll give these monitors kudos for delivering a nice combination of features for their price. Its amazing what you can get from mass-produced product today. But my pair arrived with two problems. One of the speakers has a noticeable distortion from the woofer...
Don't let the price fool you!
For the price, these are definitely the best bang for your buck monitors out there. Keep in mind they're sold individually so it ends up being around $300 for a set. I was looking at KRK Rokits, JBL LSRs and even the Yamaha HS series and ended up going with these and couldn't be happier. The sound i...
FLAT! Response! I'm Stunned
For a 6.5 woof I was expecting some drop off on the low end. These are so incredibly balanced, I would have expected them to be 8s. I am used to the Yamaha HS8 and these are pretty much on the same par. The response is really flat which is great for an honest mix. The mids are far crisper than my ol...
Kali Audio LP 6 - They're Great
Set these up into my audio interface and watched a bunch of music videos, old and new, many genre's and I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. They sound like they should. Clear, detailed and flat. The dip switches for the EQ and location do what they say. I have played guitar thru a DI box straight ...
The best monitors under $500 on the market
These monitors are phenomenal, they have such a flat, neutral sound to them that mixing my tracks are way more accurate then it used to be. No built in EQ means your tracks tell you the truth of what you’re lacking and what you need to add. The low end is very present but not overpowering, again, th...
Budget setup but light years ahead of my tv speakers
I just moved to a new apartment and got a pair of Kali LP-6 to use at my office but the room is so so so echoey that I decided to put the speakers in the living room until I'm able to do a proper sound treatment, but I got so surprised by the results that I don't think I'll return the speakers to the office anymore or maybe I'll get another pair. The sound is amazing if compared with the tv speakers, and of course, the budget. I also took the opportunity to do some cable management and connect everything with ethernet cables. Overall, I'm really happy with the results.
Great speaker, but arrived damaged
The speaker is everything I wanted. Amazing value for the price. I am just disappointed because it arrived with damage (see pictures). I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it for some cosmetic damage when I need to use it. The speaker should be packaged better for delivery.
Sounds great, great value!
These speakers are exactly what I’m looking for. I play guitar for our church’s worship service and use a modeling pedal board . Practicing in a bedroom size room at home, I don’t need tons of volume, just something that allows a true representation of the sound I create with the board, so I can be ...
